In the «1937» project, I talk about the tragic fate of my great-grandmother, who was imprisoned and then shot on charges of espionage and anti-Soviet agitation. Using photographs and archival documents, I explore the traumas passed down to each successive generation in my family, as well as shed light on a past that is suppressed in Russia.
